"It's good to know that we have been recognised for our efforts and it is with the generosity of Almondsbury Garden Centre & Rowntrees garden centre at Tickenham that we could go ahead this year and provide some colour at the pier. In such a hostile environment it is very difficult to keep the containers going. However with the help of varoius people including the Youth Offenders team this has been possible. We are hoping that next year it may be possible to extend this by having more flower containers, therefore more of a display. I would personally like to thank all those who have helped in making this a success" Linda Strong, Pier Manager |
