The Art of Giles

Evening Glow by Giles

"Evening Glow" by 'Giles'
painted with airbrush, Indian ink and acrylics

The artist Gary Iles writes:

"Giles"I am a self-taught artist. I have been painting now for approximately two years. It stemmed from my love of surfing and the ocean. I was asked to paint some surf scenes on glass and it grew from there. A professional artist said to me 'Why don't you try other media?" So I started using acrylics on canvas, first painting surf scenes and waves. I always wanted to try an airbrush so invested in one and haven't looked back since, using acrylics and Indian inks for most of my works. GilesMy Art is also available on the Vivarti website www.vivarti.co.uk (look for artist Gary Iles), more of my surf art and commission work at www.artquid.com/gary-iles. If you would like an original airbrush portrait or picture on any theme, email me at iles_gary@hotmail.com
